The unit had some minor damage on the inlet threads, it wasnt significant to return and I felt it would not leak.   The pump had water in it, so some leaked out during transport, I think that maybe why it had damage
Can you explain why it would have water in it?

Great prices, Blake was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.I was able to pick up my pump at the store which made delivery faster. I went back and bought cartridge filter which were a lot cheaper than Leslie pool supply.
